Technician Hiring Standards

Standard 1

Qualifications and Professional Credentials

  • Education: Vocational diploma or trade certificate or higher in Electronics - Refrigeration, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.

  • Experience: Lead technicians: typically 1-2 years of hands-on installation experience. Assistant/apprentice technicians: solid fundamentals, formal training, and quick learners.

  • Supplementary certifications: Preference for technicians with occupational safety credentials (especially electrical safety and working at height).

Standard 2

Practical Technical Skills

Technicians must master the specific procedures for each product line:

  • Air conditioners: Able to read wiring diagrams, weld copper pipes, charge refrigerant, pressure-test, vacuum, and install indoor/outdoor units correctly (per TCVN 5687:2024).

  • Refrigerators / Washing machines: Skilled in leveling, connecting water supply and drainage lines, and especially the grounding wiring techniques that prevent electric shocks.

  • TVs & AV equipment: Proficient in wall drilling, mounting brackets (fixed, tilting, articulating), software configuration, internet connectivity, and viewing-angle optimization.

  • Modern technology: Able to use digital measurement tools (multimeters, in-wall detectors) and the smartphone app to accept jobs and submit on-site photo reports.

Standard 3

Professional Conduct and Service Culture

These are the make-or-break factors for maintaining brand reputation:

  • Punctuality: Strict adherence to the appointment time agreed with the customer.

  • Appearance: A neat, clean uniform that conveys professionalism.

  • Communication: Polite and composed; able to recommend the optimal installation position and guide customers on using the equipment after installation.

  • Cleanliness: Responsible for clearing debris and dust from the work area before handover.

Standard 4

Technical Standards & Safety (Mandatory)

  • National standards: Compliance with household electrical safety regulations (per QCVN 25:2025/BKHCN).

  • Occupational safety: Always wear protective gear (helmet, boots, harness when working at height) and test for electrical leaks with a voltage tester before touching the unit.

  • Materials & accessories: Use compliant materials (correct copper-pipe thickness, appropriate wire gauge) to ensure long-term durability of the customer's equipment.
